I know you've been waiting for this one. The inner motivations of all that is Rihanna, the Good Girl Gone Bad. Reminds me of myself in a way. Rihanna, of course, is an ISFP 4, arguably the most individualistic (and fashionable) MBTI/enneagram combo in the whole system.
Side note: I hate when the formatting doesn't work. It shows the text as all black in the editor but not in the actual blog. F u Blogger. One day I will have a nicely formatted blog and it will be famous. Not today though.

I’m a tomboy. My best friend Melissa [Forde], she was the one who girled me up. I would go to clubs with her and she’d be dressed up and I’d be wearing, like, sneakers and a bandana and I didn’t find anything wrong with it until she started showing me magazines.
The stylish kids on the street, they’re the ones that set the trends. The designers see what they’re doing and go and design their line and sell it back to the same kids and it’s like, why not go directly to the source? High-street shops pay more attention to the kids on the street than to the runways, so in a way I like to mix both.
If my parents were angry with each other I could feel the energy in the room, whether they were arguing or not. It’s painful to watch your mum go through certain things. I learned a lot, you know.
Stay is a story about having love that close and wanting it to last forever. You don’t have that feeling with everybody so when you have it you don’t want to let go of it. I would definitely say that he is the one I have that kind of relationship with.
I think I came to a point where I started lying to myself. And it’s so hard to live a lie. It’s just too hard. It’s too difficult. It’s too much to think about. That’s why I’m posting pictures of myself smoking pot, to tell the truth about myself. I’ve got so much to think about, why bring all this extra s*** by being dishonest? When somebody else lies to you, you don’t trust them. Trying lying to yourself, that’s even worse. You can’t paint a fake picture for too long before the truth comes out and then it’s hard that it doesn’t match up.
It’s all about honesty. This is not failure, it’s lessons. It’s not the end. If you learn from mistakes it’s not failure. If you go and do the exact same f***ing thing then that’s the stupidest thing ever and it probably won’t work the second time.
I'm not generally a sensitive person, but I tend to be more sensitive toward others and what they're going through.
The way I dress depends on how I feel. I never have to psych myself up. Usually it just feels like it works.
My favorite red-carpet looks are usually the ones I get to help design: the Adam Selman Swarovski crystal dress at the CFDAs, the Stella McCartney all-white dress at the Met Gala, and the Adam Selman white jersey dress from the VMAs. But the red Azzedine Alaïa at the Grammys is also one of my favorites.

I think women want freedom, they want to be empowered, they want hope, they want love, they want all the things that I want and I’m not afraid to say those things and act on them, and I think that’s why they identify with me. Women want to be fearless and sometimes all it takes is to see that it’s possible. Once you see it can be done, you think “I could do it, too.” That’s all I could ever hope for, to have a positive effect on women. ’Cos women are powerful, powerful beings. But they’re also the most doubtful beings. They’ll never know – we’ll never know – how powerful we are.
I’ve had incredible women – my mum, my grandmum, my best friends! I’ve got this Isis tattoo [on her ribcage] to symbolise my grandmother. Isis was an Egyptian goddess who taught women to be complete women – how to cook, how to clean, how to wash clothes, how to survive and not be slaves to men. She taught them to be independent women and to make things happen by themselves. And that’s the attitude of all the women in my family, and my grandmother was the one who first really taught me that. My mum, though, was exposed to certain things in life and that made her a little harder and maybe a little colder than other women. And I’m very much like her.
Everybody has an opinion about everything. But an opinion is just an opinion – I can only respect it but I can’t do anything to change their minds or to change the way I feel. Nothing is going to change because of their opinion. Everybody wanted to know what was happening in my life. Is she a drug addict? No. Is she an alcoholic? No. Is she a victim? No. That’s when I got the gun. It was a symbol of strength – it was “I’ll never be a victim!”
I was like, who am I trying to please? None of these motherf***ers know me! Why do I care about what they think? I started thinking, what if I went my whole life trying to please everybody? You will never please everybody. And you haven’t pleased yourself ’cos you’ve been so busy trying to please everybody and then it’s too late. I had to have that breakthrough, to tap into who I really was. And the truth. And trusting myself again.
I am very ambitious! It's ridiculous how much I want to put on my plate, which is already full. I am sensitive to what my team is going through. Actually I'm lying. They get no sympathy … we love what we do!

At times I won’t be rebellious or edgy, sometimes it’ll be vulnerable and really innocent but you don’t know what bad things that girl might do to get to the vulnerable state! Sometimes bad girls are tired of bad s***.
I go to strip clubs – sometimes with men, sometimes on my own. Why? ’Cos I enjoy the music they play there. It has a certain vibe and I watch the girls pole dancing. Even now I will go to, like, an industry event and all the ladies will be over here and all the guys over here and I will go to the guys’ table and sit because I just feel I can have a much better conversation over there. And that’s automatic, it’s not prejudice.
This is my rock’n’roll fantasy and it’s sure to be a wild ride.
I want health and happiness in five years. I want to be healthy and happy.
The same goal I set every year—to be happy.

To start with, 4's are really into fashion as a means of expression. We all know how much Rihanna likes to experiment with her look, and she does it to shock people by standing out. Miley Cyrus is another one who does this, and so is Nicki Minaj who is a 4 fix. Pretty much anyone with 4 in their tritype is going to have a distinct "look" to them. 3w4's try to but ultimately fail since their thing is whatever is already in style. See: Justin Bieber's kilts.
As a 4 fix, I have the same vibe picking-up Rihanna has, where you are just sensitive to other people's energy. It comes from being something called a Highly Sensitive Person. 4's are sensitive, emotional creatures that are easily brought down by others' emotions. They're also the type who have Knight in Shining Armor syndrome, where they always need to be saved by a guy. Rihanna keeps going back to Chris Brown because she has a love-hate relationship with him, something 4's are prone to, especially SP 4's.
Finally, 4's have to be authentic. They have to. They can't lie about their emotions or sweep them under the rug. It just doesn't work. Especially core 4 types. If they so much as try to do that, in comes depression, anxiety, etc. Rihanna needs to be honest with her fans because that's how she operates. Same with Miley Cyrus. Which is why you won't see them covering up the fact that they smoke weed like Justin Bieber, a 3 fix, did. If you'll notice, Rihanna is back to black hair. Right now she is as real as it gets. While everyone else in Hollywood is bleaching their hair blonde, she's saying hell to the no.
8w7
8w7's are very powerful people. Even 8 fixes. They have a strong influence on everyone around them because they are the toughest type in the entire Enneagram. Rihanna identifies with other powerful, fearless women because she is one herself. I mean come on, she likely slept with Jay-Z to get a record deal. You won't find any weak women who have done that. And she totally owns it, no ragrets. Rihanna is the equivalent of a modern-day feminist. The "Bitch Better Have My Money" video is a statement about the Barbie-fying of society and how she won't put up with it anymore. Rihanna famously gained her curves back on purpose (google Thickanna) when she lost them because she knows who she is (4w3) and she won't accept a society that tries to morph her into a Barbie doll (8w7). She is ambitious and goal-driven, and she won't accept anyone else's opinion but her own.
7w8
Finally, 7w8, the rockstar fix. Pretty much everyone in the music industry now has this in their tritype if not as their core type. 7w8 rebels for the fun of it. Anyone who knows anything about Rihanna can tell you that describes her. She parties at strip clubs, mingles with bad boys, goes crazy with her onstage antics. And above all, her goal is to be "happy". 7 will do anything to be happy. They will run away from every problem in their life, sweep everything under the rug, just to find happiness. It's a lazy, gluttonous happiness, but happiness nonetheless.
So there. Rihanna, the good girl gone bad. Sx/so because let's face it, she doesn't have much of a self-preservation instinct. She'll drink til the sun comes up if it means living like a Rockstar.
